to Grade 4!

Dear
Parents,
I would like to welcome you and your
child to a great year of learning at Northwood Public School! I am very excited
about being your son or daughters’ teacher. I’m committed to provide an
enjoyable and engaging, yet challenging learning experience for your child. The
monthly newsletters will be posted on our classroom blog (http://mrsgallsclassroomblog.blogspot.ca/). If you require a hard copy, please let
me know. You will find a link to my Twitter feed on our blog. Please be sure to
follow me on Twitter as I consistently tweet about the learning happening in
4G.
Your child will be responsible for
bringing their agenda to school and home each day. The agenda will keep the
lines of communication open between school and home. I would appreciate if you
could initial the agenda after you have read it. A $2.00 charge will be
required for the agenda this year. Please send the money with your child as
soon as possible.
Physical activity is a daily
occurrence for your child. Please ensure that your child has a pair of running
shoes available. It would also be helpful to send your child to school with a
bottle of water.
School supplies such as pencils,
scissors, erasers, glue sticks, highlighters and coloured pencils will be
provided for your child. Extra glue sticks, pencils and erasers and a pencil
sharpener are items that your child may choose to have extras of their own. If
you choose to, a box of tissues would be a helpful item for our classroom.
